Halloween Pumpkin Flower Workshop

Join us for a wonderful afternoon with Free Spirit Flowers and Bugweed’s at the Pop Up Patch, Sutton on the Forest. This first of its kind collaboration between three local businesses, brings creativity to life in the outdoors with an autumnal and slightly spooky theme!

After choosing your own pumpkin from the fantastic choice at Westfield Farm, the lovely Jayne, award winning florist and owner of Free Spirit Flowers, will guide you through using both fresh and dried flowers to create a fabulous pumpkin flower arrangement.

These unique and completely individual arrangements will look fantastic on your doorstep, fireplace or kitchen table and will give plenty of autumnal vibes! There will be an opportunity for you to also use some spooky fabric from Bugweed’s to make a bow to add in to your arrangement.

There will be a short period of time at the beginning of the workshop for you to choose and pay for your own pumpkin so you can get the perfect one for you! Pumpkins are priced between £2 and £8 depending on size.

Refreshments will be provided and the cost of entry to the Pop Up Patch is included so please feel free to stay after the session to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, pick some more pumpkins and have a calming couple of hours!

Perfect for beginners! All crafting materials, flowers and tools will be provided. This workshop is suitable for 16 years and over. Book a ticket for this workshop and get a free adults place on our Spooky Hoop sewing workshop for families on Wednesday 29th October at Bugweed’s!

What do I need to bring?

If you are able to bring some scissors and secateurs that would be great, but we will have some available.

About our tutor Jayne

Jayne is a national award winning florist who uses the highest quality flowers to create the beautiful florals for weddings and events. She is based in a rustic workshop in Londesborough and describes her floral arrangements as bespoke, natural and a wee bit free spirited! We are delighted to welcome Jayne as a special guest tutor and look forward to further floral workshops.
