Micro Crochet Earrings

We are delighted to have our wonderful friend Steffi Glaves back at Bugweed’s for a brilliant workshop in micro crochet. It’s tiny time! Test your skills and learn some new ones on this exciting, creative workshop!

In this crochet session, Steffi will walk you through making a granny square for jewellery, sharing clever tips to conquer the magic ring and minimize sewing in ends. You’ll work with delicate sterling silver findings and a 0.9mm hook, with the option to go smaller or larger to suit your style. Leave with a beautiful pair of handmade earrings and the skills to make more.

Thread and light refreshments are included. Please purchase/ bring your own crochet hooks to the session. They will be available to purchase in store if you are adding to your collection!

Left or right handed, everyone is welcome.

What do you need to bring?

• crochet hooks – 0.9mm and any others around this size that you would like to try
• your glasses if you need them!!
• patience
• enthusiasm

Required  knowledge/experience

Suitable for advanced beginners. You need to know how to basic crochet stitches, chain stitches, double crochet and treble crochet stitches.

About our tutor

Steffi Glaves is a wonderful human being as well as a designer & maker, specialising in micro crochet and jewellery making. She sells her finished work and crochet patterns on Etsy and has had her work featured in various magazines including Simply Crochet and Landscape Magazine. Steffi is the author of 2 books, which will be available to purchase on the evening. Both 100 Micro Crochet Motifs and 100 Micro Amigurumi have been a great success both in the UK and further afield.
