Toe-tally Beginner Socks No DPNs!!!

Sat May 23 @ 1:00 pm - Sat June 20 @ 3:30 pm
£65.00

This course is a series of 3 workshops. It is important to attend each one as the skills will be added to each session.

Welcome to Toe-tally Beginner Socks with Eleanor! We are so excited to bring you the second instalment of our beginners sock-knitting course where you will have chance to further develop your skills and master using circular needles.

Socks can look intimidating with all those needles so this time we are tackling the magic loop technique so you don’t need to constantly struggle with all those DPNs.

Join us for a relaxed, supportive 3 week sock-knitting course designed for sock beginners, rusty knitters and anyone who’s ever felt stuck with those double-pointed needles, magic loop or turning heels. Running every other Saturday, this course breaks down the process into clear manageable steps so you can build confidence, learn essential techniques and finish with a beautiful handmade sock!

Don’t rush to learn and fail, come and take your time; ask questions and practice your skills.

Across the three sessions, you’ll learn everything from a stretchy cast-on and turning heels to shaping the toe, with plenty of guidance, demonstrations, and time to practice in a friendly environment with lots of tea and biscuits!

Week 1

Learn how to cast on for a toe up sock on long circular needles using a magic loop. Knit the toe and start to knit the foot of the sock. Get comfortable using the magic loop technique and other sock knitting treats!
