Beginners crochet

£55.00Join Steffi and learn how to crochet in a day!
In this beginners crochet session Steffi will teach you the basics of crochet. You will learn how to hold the hook and yarn, how to create chains and double crochet before moving on to half trebles and trebles. There will be plenty of time to practice what you have learnt. You can even have a go at creating your very own granny square where you’ll be working in the round and changing colours.
All materials and light refreshments (drinks and biscuits) are included.
Children ages 14+ are welcome to attend. They must be accompanied by an adult. If both adult and child would like to participate in the workshop please purchase two tickets. If only the child wishes to take part please purchase 1 ticket.
Left or right handed, everyone is welcome.
What do you need to bring?
Nothing for the workshop, everything is provided for you.
There will be a half hour break for lunch so feel free to bring some with you.
Required knowledge/experience
None, this is suitable for absolute beginners.
About our tutor
Steffi Graves is a designer/maker specialising in micro crochet and jewellery making. She sells her finished work and crochet patterns on Etsy and has had her work featured in various magazines including Simply Crochet and Landscape Magazine. She is the author of 100 Micro Crochet Motifs and more recently 100 Micro Amigurumi.
