Beginners Sewing – Adults or children welcome

Would you love to learn how to use a sewing machine? Perhaps you have a child who would love to sew? Join Helen who will show you how!

What will you learn?

Join Helen and she will show you the basics of using a sewing machine. You will learn how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, understand basic stitches, how to change the foot. You will be able to complete the sewing machine driving test!

Everyone will have the opportunity to put their new skills into practice by completing a small project.

This workshop is recommended for adults or children ages 8+. Adults are welcome to come by themselves. Parents/carers will need to stay with the children.

Previous experience required?

None, this is suitable for beginners

What will I need to bring?

If you have your own sewing machine please bring that along, otherwise you are welcome to use one of our studio machines. Do let us know when booking if you need to borrow a machine.
