Bloom Together – Felt, Beads & Ladybirds

Our summer holiday workshops are all about creativity through textiles and media and are aimed at children and adults developing their skills in a range of areas and more importantly a chance to create and develop a love of being free to create.

Join Debbie on this child (8+)  and adult workshop to create a very cute felt ladybird broach using beads to embellish it. This whole project will be hand sewn so no machine needed and no experience needed! We encourage children of any age from 8+ to come along with their adult. You can either both sew one or work on the same one!

If you are a beginner to sewing, whether adult or child, Debbie will guide you through this project and demonstrate some simple stitches along the way. You will leave with a beautifully completed ladybird broach with enough fabric in your goody bag to go home and make another one! Yes! That’s buy one ticket, get a goody bag free!!

All materials and a goody bag are included in the price! There will be a short break in the workshop with refreshments.

We are a neurodivergent friendly studio and understand that some people need more breaks than others. If you or your child requires any workshop adjustments please get in touch and let us know. We are more than happy to accommodate a range of needs.

Please note, this workshop is for individuals aged 8 and over. Up to 2 children are welcome with one adult. Please book a place for each person who is making a ladybird broach ie 2 children and 1 adult making a broach each (with 3 goody bags) please book 3 tickets, 1 child with an accompanying adult and only 1 broach being made please book 1 ticket.
