Crochet Amigurumi Creatures

Join our fabulous crochet tutor, Debbie, to learn how to master crocheting amigurumi creatures. This is a really popular crochet skill and there are many patterns available for all sorts of creatures and objects. From cats to carrots, snails to sunshines, the amigurumi world will be your oyster!

Debbie will show you a variety of techniques for making amigurumi creatures including stitching in the round, increasing and decreasing, and stitching together after stuffing.

A pair of safety eyes will be included with a choice of patterns for you to choose from.

What do you need to bring?

Either a 3mm or 3.5mm crochet hook and DK yarn.

The choice of amigurumi will be ice cream, a narwhal and/or a duck. If you would like to make multi coloured creatures please bring several colours of yarn with you.

Previous experience required? 

This session is designed for beginners who have some experience of crochet. You should be able to do a chain and double crochet. This workshop is accessible for all ages; children over 12 are welcome with an accompanying adult.
