Fibre Friends Skills Hour – Socks!

Fibre Friends is all about socks for the next three sessions! If it’s time for you to master the art of sock knitting, then join Geraldine for three 1 hour sessions with time in between to have a go at home.

Session 1 Thursday 27th March – Cast on both of your socks using the magic loop method on the circular needles that you will receive as a free gift for booking.

Session 2 Thursday 10th April – Learn how to turn the heel and continue to knit the body of the socks.

Session 3 Thursday 24th April – Complete your socks and confidently cast off!

There is one payment for all three sessions and, as mentioned, you will receive your circular needles free!

You will need a ball of 4ply sock yarn which is available in a variety of colours in Bugweed’s yarn emporium!!

These are small, relaxed knitting sessions where our lovely expert, Geraldine, will guide you through the process of sock knitting and answer all your questions. Basic knitting skills are required but you will no doubt learn quickly and confidently within the group so don’t worry if you are relatively new to knitting!
