Half Term Pottery Workshop

This is our first collaborative workshop with Sarah from Schiewe Ceramics. We are thrilled to bring all those in our community, age 7 and upwards, an opportunity to be creative with air dry clay. Come and make a ladybird!

Who is it for?

This fantastic ceramics workshop is aimed at all those aged 7 upwards. You will have chance to learn simple techniques and enjoy being creative whilst learning from an expert. Sarah is experienced in teaching her craft to others and is highly enthusiastic about children’s creative journeys. This is a workshop for those who are happy to experience touching and moulding clay, you may get a bit dirty! We ask that children under 13 are supervised at all times.

What do I bring?

Just your creative enthusiasm and an adult if you are under 13 years of age. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and an apron if you have one!

What will I achieve?

Participants will leave the workshop with a wonderful, unique sculpture and will have learnt basic skills in modelling and ceramics. We hope to see lots of ladybirds! Sculptures will need to have time to dry out before being painted so painting is not included in the workshop.
