Introduction to knitting a shawl

Join Catherine for this fabulous workshop introducing you to how to knit a shawl.
Catherine will show you different examples of what is possible and will show you how to start your own shawl project.
You will be able to take the pattern home with you to finish your shawl.
What do I need to bring?
The shawl pattern we will be using is flexible. You are welcome to use either DK or aran weight yarn. Please bring 200g of yarn with you. If you are using DK yarn you will need to bring 4.5 or 5mm needle or 5.5mm needles for aran yarn.
Attendees are welcome to a 10% discount at Bugweeds Yarn and Crafts when purchasing workshop supplies.
Previous experience
You need basic knitting skills for this workshop. You will need to be able to cast on, knit, purl and cast off. This workshop isn’t suitable for absolute beginners to knitting.
