Block of the Month

Feeling festive? Well Helen certainly is! Join her for a full day to create a quilted wreath in all your favourite festive fabrics!

This stunning wreath is made using the Dresden template and is a great way to show of your quilting skills to everyone who comes to your door!

Our Block Of The Month, BOTM, sessions are full of support and friendship and we welcome both newcomers and regulars. This workshop is exactly the same as the workshop on Saturday 29th November. Please refrain from booking on both workshops!

What do you need to bring?

•  Sew Easy Dresden template, at least 8.5″ deep
• A range of Christmas Fabrics at least 0.5m in total
• Ribbons for hanging and bows
• Thread
• 28mm rotary cutter
• 1/4” foot or capability to move needle on your machine to 1/4” (ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY)
• fabric marking pen

What is included?

• 1kg of stuffing for the wreath inner
• Light refreshments
• Laughter and friendship

Required sewing knowledge/experience

This workshop is suitable for all intermediate quilters. You will need to be familiar with your machine and how to use it’s features such as winding and inserting the bobbin, threading up your machine and needle, changing the feet and needle and sewing a straight stitch. This session is not suitable for complete sewing machine beginners. You must have a 1/4″ foot or the ability to move your needle to the 1/4″ seam allowance.
