Perfect Fit!

Welcome to the Skills Sessions of Bugweed’s Sewing School with Hannah. In this session you will be introduced to bust adjustments and will have time to learn new skills to adjust garment patterns so they fit your own unique shape.

We are all different when it comes to body shape and it is important that if you are putting time in to making your own clothes, you also have the skills to adjust bodice pieces to fit your shape.

Hannah will guide you through the best way to manipulate pattern pieces using measurements on practice pattern pieces to give you the skills to go home and adjust patterns on your own.

Required sewing knowledge and experience

It would be useful for attendees to have a basic knowledge of sewing patterns and simple garment construction. This workshop will be a paper based exercise full of measuring, drawing and cutting.

Fabric and tool requirements

You will not need to bring your sewing machine. If you would like to bring any garment making rulers and a pencil please feel free!

Everything else you will need will be provided for the workshop.
